Class Projects

Here is the cover that I did for my son's kindergarten class. They are doing a writing book with the alphabet and different silly bugs. They are practicing letter formations and then writing "C is for the Cactus Bug" and stuff like that. I made just a few of the bugs. Pictured are the Kite Bug, Tomato Bug, Mushroom Bug, Cactus Bug, and Flower Bug. I made one cover and then color copied it. His teacher was very pleased.

Hubby B-day Card

Here is a card that I made for my husband. He is so not into glitz and stuff. This was the best that I could do. I think it came out pretty nice.

Valentines for Teachers

Here are the gifts for the teachers. I stamped the envelopes and I love the way they turned out. I wrapped a king size chocolate bar in paper and cut the tag using the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge. I think they came out pretty nice.

Valentines for Nieces

Here are the valentines for my nieces. The one with the zebra is for my 11 yr old niece. Her favorite color is purple and for her birthday party she had bags with zebra print fabric and purple handles. So I played off of that. My other niece is 15 and I didn't want to make anything to childish or grown up, so this is what I came up with. I am pretty happy with the way they both came out.

Teacher Valentine Cards

So I have really been on the ball with cards this year. I got the Christmas ones out on time and I made special teacher ones even. I have just finished the Valentines cards for teachers and just had to share. They came out pretty good. I also have pics of ones that I did for my nieces that I will post later.

Cricut Imagine

So totally not impressed with this machine. It prints and cuts. Big deal. The ink is expensive, it own't up hook up to the design studio and the colors are flat and the images are not very cute. The projects they have shown look to manufactured and not hand made. I think I will buy a new expression to stock up. I have a ton of Cricut carts (thanks to my wonderful sis), and I love shopping for paper. I don't want to just print paper, I like to touch feel and stock up. I think that PC has dumbed down the machine by only offering cut size to only 11.5 in, and I can cut to 23.5 inches. I am so glad I didn't go crazy and try to convince my husband I needed one of these.
